I would reccomend the PS3 way more than the 360s, but if you really want one or the other, just buy the Elite. I read an article, and the sound they sound the same.

PS3 is way better, it doesn't get Red Ring of Death, and free multiplayer, cause XBOX LIVE costs a lot of money with the economy and all.

I prefer the 360.And I wouldn't get the elite get the 60GB which is 250 cuz unless u plan on having 2,000 songs on it 60 GB is alot.And for ilovemoney249,the RROD has been fixed and multiplayer is 5 dollars a month,which is only like 15 cents a day.And the multiplayer experience is,well,better.It just is.I dont think people with ps3 can say it has better games.halo 3 halo 3 odst are top games,and gears 1 and 2 and it just is better.

PS3 is cheaper. Xbox is better though when it comes to actual gaming.

well, 15 cents is a waste, im saving my money for world domination, but for now, im sitting here ruling my mind with countless hours of... well something...

The 360 is far better than the PS3 for games and online. If you want hardcore gaming, then the 360 + Live will be your best bet.

The Elite is better due to the HDMI port. And also, the Elite can't have games made specifically for it, since it has the same drive formatting as the regular 360s. The Elites are just more reliable, have more space (much more) and they have HDMI.

Law. Funny how every topic is hi-jacked into a console war. He meant the elite vs. the pro. I'd recommend the elite, since it just seems overall better... BTW, the pro and the elite are both 360's, and use the same discs.

For the sake of arguement:

PS3=360 in all aspects, except for PS3 having higher stats. (aka. the multiplayer is the same and stuff)

Thats not an option. My mom/stepdad are incharge of the PC, and its not in the budget to get new ones anythime soon. Cod 3 failed on the good one so...

I'd be buying the system with my own money, same with games.

Well, the PS3 is now 300 US Dollars, and as is the Pro and the Elite, but I've decided on the 360. All-in-all, its really down to weather or not I should buy the Elite or Pro, not any PS3.

Paying money a month isnt THAT much of an issue. My family isn't rich, but more of an upper middle-class. Plus, I can just guilt my dad into paying the money. (14 year old cute charm...). Nah, jking. But alot of things at my Moms are based on:

a) Attitude
b) Grades (A's)

Modding?! Well, he said to buy the pro because apparently it was easier to mod. So, should I Pro over the Elite on this account? Is this Even true? And I'd rather beat a BattleFront-Style game with awesome finger powers, rather than just holding down some modded, extra button with perks and what not...
