so what do you guys think about abortion? Basically what people say justify it is that the fetus "isn't human," it's an animal. The same people, however also say that we need to save the whales and ban hunting? so what's it gonna be guys? (I believe That a baby is a human from conception)
I think its the parents choice of whether or not to get an abortion. If they're for it, they should be allowed to do it.
So the teens are old enough to have sex, but not old enough to make post-sex decisions? The only reason parents have to give consent for so many things is because minors can't enter a legally binding contract, so if something goes wrong the company could be sued otherwise. It shouldn't be the parents choice whether or not their daughter gets an abortion.
It scientific fact that we are animals. We're mammals, whales are mammals, dogs are mammals, and we consider them animals, so we're no different. Newsflash people, WE ARE ANIMALS!
NEWSFLASH!
If you are using the biological classification system we are Animallia
Biologically we are animals, good job, you're not an idiot. But socially we are not animals.
What is the primary goal of humanity? To have sex and eat? No. Biologically yes. But socially no. Do you see the distinction?
fetus argument tiiiiieeeeemmmm if you kill the potential, you kill the result. if you kill cancer, you kill its later state. if you kill a fetus, you kill a human.
Shouldn't have brought it up D: I refuse to get into that argument xD
It shouldn't be the parents choice whether or not their daughter gets an abortion.
I think what He means is that even though we're programed to eat and have sex, we really don't presue those things with all our effort. We grow up, and try to do things that make us happy. Eating and having sex are fun, but typically people want to follow their own interests, like going to college or traveling the world etc.
^exactly. why bring something into this world that is going to be in a living hell? Its more inhuman to do that than than just to kill of a microscopic ball of cells.
I have no problem with abortion. Sure, it's killing a human child-to-be, but if it isn't even born yet, what difference does it make? Killing something that has no real proven thoughts should not be illegal.
