I understand that SoulHack117 and her alt got perma- banned, along with Luitenut. But I want to know how you know you know a person is banned. And by banned, I mean temp-banned.
There's no proper way to know how a person is temporarily banned, and the reason for this is because in most cases, we don't feel the need to humiliate users who do get banned. The ban is supposed to be enough deterrent in itself.
Uhm, not sure if Strop approves of me telling you this, but if you type the users screenname into the login box (don't worry about the password) and click login, it should tell you if the user is banned or not. That's how I knew.
We though about putting it on profile pages, but we figured it would just add more insult to injury. I guess a good way to tell is that if someone is all of a sudden not responding after acting out... they are probably banned.
