This movie is very contaversal, many Christians think that it is a blasfamy agaist Christ. I just think that Christians are very insecure about their religeon and they get scared when they think Jesus is being disproved. The they gotta make up a bunch of crap like creationism and other dumb stories.
The fasinating part of this movie is the astrology, and the facts about it. How while the earth revolves around the sun we are in a cycle. We know this because of studies in greece about constalations and such. I think its very interesting and that part is worth watching 100 times over.
The last part is about the american government and the go on to say things that might offend people.
Anyway, do everyone a favor, watch this movie. you dont have to believe in anything, just keep an open mind

I've already seen this movie and it made me a little sad to think about how many people must've died fighting for something that was plagerized and twisted around by the people in charge to gain power. Christianity though isn't the only religion that is corrupt. This movie kinda focused more on Christianity then let's say... Islam. Which is pretty much the same deal. I'm not an athiest, but I think the world would be a better place without religion.

Roman Catholic through the dark ages was a very brutal religion, They killed many philosophers, scientists and they also burned alot of books. They rewrote and stuck in a lot of stuff in the bible a few times and they portrait god to be angry at everyone who does not believe in Jesus, Marry, and what the pope says. So the pope had alot of power, he used his power to do alot of bad stuff like the things I have just said.
Usually when someone trys to prove Jesus did not exist or that Christianity is wrong. Alot of preachers get insecure and start writing new things that blaspheme the lord. Creating false accusations about was written, for example divine creation. I do not believe Christians are in their right mind in any since, they read a broken religion thats been pitifully placed back together. Some people ask Christians âwhere are the bones of Jesus if he existed?â And they go on to say that âhe has brought them to heavenâ, I feel by them saying that, it makes him easy to disbelieve, because why would anyone need their bones in heavon? Also the bible was not written by any god, it was written by disciples of Jesus, and many of them died and other people took their place and put in their 2 cents.
well the movie doesnt put down Christians at all, you are just insecure about your religion and feel that everyone is out to get you!
The movie only facts that there is a very close resemblance of the Egyptian religion to Christianity. Also that Jesus shares the same birthday and death as many fictional gods do(which is actually the sun).
I checked it out, watched it in full last night. Interesting, indeed. Of course, it has garnered some criticism for its use of misleading comments, and the fact that many sources are only "anecdotal". I always take in these types of infotainment with a grain of salt, as they say. I'm sure some of it has truth, though. (The Fed sounds kind of evil, Aye yai yai!)
I watched some of the movie and it was very interesting to see how close christianty is to other mthys and such but a good amount of myths and religions are centered around the same ideals. It is still, however, importent to note that it is very odd that all of the dates, numbers, and miricals are similar or the same.
Everyone seems to focus on the fact it disproves christianity when I think the part that should be taken more seriously is the last part. If we don't fight back we're going to end up slaves with little chips embedded into us all. Who cares if Jesus never existed? Christians won't care what you tell them about how untrue it is. People need to wake up and see what the government is doing. Turn off your MTV and f***ing fight for your rights as a human being. It's already begun, they're trying to dumb us all down and it's working. I know people who can't even find North Korea on a globe, how sad is that? I think this country needs a revolution. The government is far too corrupted to be saved.
I agree that government corruption is a major issue. People need to open their minds and not just accept what authority hands them. Manipulation is a strong tool...as we have seen on this site actually.

I have a theory that the reason the government is banning rabbit ears and non digitial television is to free up the air waves for the chips they plan to embed in us....
