There are 50 states all united under a federal government. Well some people predict that in the near future these 50 states will not be so united. There are many signs and reasons that point to this happening in the future. Well from what I am already seeing now, America will not so much break up by states but by different social classes. Right now there are parts in major cities so gang infested police and other emergency services don't even bother responding to calls in that area. In a way these gang neighborhoods are running themselves. Also there are small communites through out America that are running themselves almost completely. Right now America is still united but who knows in 50 years it could look like a movie, big walls in every city with the rich on one side and the poor on the other.
Funny how the OP bases his entire argument on one sentence saying 'there are many signs for this' without actually citing any major examples and backing it up.

Lol. But New York would go first because New Yorkers are always angry, then California because they're New Yorker wannabes. Next would be Alaska because they want looser gun laws, and Texas because it's to overwhelmed being the new largest state. After that would be New Mexico because they want all the nukes for themselves, and Arizona because it would be taken over by Mexico. Then Wyoming, because it wants to be a pity country, and later Montana and Idaho would join it (they technically own part of Yellowstone). In the end, were basically looking at the United States of Rhode Island and North Dakota.
Which the only reason it didn't succeed was yes because of small, clever tricks. However they burned the white house to the ground, we were a small growing nation with barely any military. However we managed to kick the best military force in the world out of our country :P
Mhhhhhm. Yeah, Britain was a huge military force. Too bad it's a little difficult to get a huge military across the ATLANTIC OCEAN.
yes the Dr. is right, I have my own community in Alaska were only 400lb people are welcome and the poor are put into pits and the rich people do whatever they want.
