Just A little theory I have. If you can't even bother reading a mildly short OP, and instead just flame me, I kind of feel sorry for you.
Theory Squares have sides.
We all know for a fact that squares have sides, hexagons have sides, octagons have sides, and etc. However, no one seems to think circles have sides. It has been the epicenter of fail when people have said that circles have sides, but hear out my reasoning.
A square. Fear its magical properties!
An octagon. Reminds me of an octopus.
^^^Above, is both an octagon and a square. The square has 4 sides, while the octagon has 8. That being said, if both shape were to be of the same size, the octagon would have smaller sides since they would cover the same area. My theory is that since side length decreases as the amount of sides increases, would it be possible that circles just have an immense amount of sides, each side being of such short length that it is near impossible to see? It makes sense to me. Another point would be that as the amount of sides increases, so does the size of the angle. Thus, eventually the angle would reach a near 180' status, which would also make it hard to see.
So basically, circles have -MANY sides, -Wide angles on each side -Small sides
A circle has at least two sides, and inside and an out side.
Also, technically, circles dont exist. Or at least perfect circles dont due to the fact that they are made of atoms that wouldnt be perfectly lined up.
Your theory makes some sense, I have thought the same thing before.
Well Owen, I don't wanna give you any less credit, but I am quite sure I've heard that a circle can also be defined as a polygon with infinitely many sides. So, I think someone might have theorized this before you... either way, interesting post!
just because someone else already figured this out doesnt make this any less interesting and good for him. He figured it out all by himself. He figured out and proved what a mathematician did except he doesnt have a degree or any of that.

obviously you did not choose the research your topic first before posting it on AG.
so take your square, cut of a corner of it. you have effectively created 5 sides, with the more corner cut off the number of sides increases, basically cutting into a perfecture curve that = the value of the circumference.
I cant completely agree with the theory, also nobody can make a perfect circle, it can never be %100 exact in all the measurements, not even technology can create a perfect circle, as it would make it out of pixels, which is where i think this theory originated, its possible but may better be presented as "do curves have sides"
