I have nothing aginst ford in fact they are number 2 for my way above dogde but my family has 2 chevys both above 200,000 miles and still running strong so i will never switch
Also, I'm not bashing Ford, they make some powerful trucks,V6s, and 4 cylinder engines. I just think they should do more engine research, aerodynamic research, and gain some more variety.
Ford made the best cars in the 10's/20's. Now, 10 years ago, I would have said Chevy, but the cars they're making are starting to suck, so my vote swings back to Ford.
Found On Road Dead.... Ford like a broken rock. Go Dodge never get hit.
Fix Or Repair Daily? If you can't Dodge it, Ram it!
Chevrolet
My first post didn't submit for some reason.
Chevy makes powerful engines that put out more horsepower and torque. Ford's best inventions were the 302 Boss and 351 Windsor, but now they pretty much don't use them. They rely to strongly on the F-150 and Mustang for profit. They really need some more variety. Chevy made the original Super Sport series; Nova, El Camino, Chevelle, and of course the Camaro. Ford mainly uses small block V6s and V8s. Older model Mustangs had loads of power, but Ford pretty much cut that down because of engine costs. The Mustang now, is just a show pony.

This is really tough for me. My family has always had mainly Fords, but I'm a muscle and super car fan (Lambos etc.) and Chevy now has the Corvette and Camaro. Ford does have the Mustang and every type from basic V-6 to the Shelby GT 500. Ford also made the Ford GT (it was a super car), the Shelby Cobra, and now is coming out with the Eco-Boost engines that make 4 cylinders almost like V-6s (which is pretty cool I thought). So in the end I'll say I like Ford better (even though I have a Chevy Cav. with about 232,000 miles).
