I've seen a few fancy dress threads in the past that asked specific stuff so this is a more general one for everyone who needs help for a fancy dress party so.....

I've been invited to a fancy dress party of the theme "song titles" and 'm really kinda stumped. So I'd like your ideas please. I don't have much in the way of funds for the costune so it will have to simple-ish and not too extravegent. other people I know are going as genie in a bottle and poker face etc. and I am stumped. any help? please

Here are some songs that came to mind:

Check yes Juilette--you could dress up as Romeo and have a survey/check boxs asking for Juilette

Green light--literally go as a stop light... I dunno..might be amusing

Kryptonite-- you can go as Superman but bring a green rock

Paper planes--attach lots of paper planes to yoruself

Unwell---dress up in pjs and pretend to look sick

Save a horse ride a cowboy/Cowboy-obviously...be a Cowboy

Men in black-- wear a black suit maybe get a fake pistol or water gun

Maybe, I like my interpretation more.

Also, calling it right now. There will be a minimum of 1 Thriller zombie there.

I love it... it's relatively simple but it will look like I've put a lot of effort in blowing them up and the song is brilliant as for the practicalities I could take spare clothes and change at some point (bit of a cop out then though)

I suppose the Dexy's Midnight Runners hit is out of the question lol

Other ideas I've had are:

Goldfinger (Bond theme) very simple though.

Walking on sunshine again very easy involving sticking a sun to my shoes.

And If I end up being really lazy I thought about Come As You Are by Nirvana and well come as I am. :/

Thanks for the help guys the party is a few weeks away so ideas are welcome
