Well Google Chrome is nice, but for me I prefer Firefox, for the added benefit of all the add-ons and how it can replicate anything available on Chrome...except maybe the speed, but thats the least of my concern when browsing.
I prefer Firefox. It has two things up on Chrome: Better logo and I'm more familiar with it. This makes Firefox "better" as far as I'm concerned, but they are both capable of doing anything you want them to do free of hassle. Which logo do you prefer? Use that one.
Personally, I find Firefox better because you can customize much better. The only reason I use Chrome is for the speed and the fact that my sister would defenestrate me if I used her Firefox. Another thing, I strongly dislike the fact that Chrome cannot support Stumbleupon. Enfuriates me.
I use Internet Explorer 9 for a lot of things, such as for research of Armor Games. However, some web sites or certian aspects of those sites glitch up on it. With Google Chrome, so far things haven't happened. Although I do like Internet Explorer 9's search engine better. An example of a common site that runs better (at least from my personal experience)on Google Chrome: Facebook.
I've used a lot of web browsers; Google Chrome is one the better ones, but not the best.
Internet Explorer is what I used for years. It was alright, until they released Windows 7. I could not get it to stop crashing, so I switched over to Safari. Safari was alright, but sometimes got slow when multiple tabs were open. I used it for about 3 months. After that I switched to Google Chrome (which I used for around a year). It was very fast and easy to navigate, however didn't have the add ons that I needed at times. I now use Firefox and like it better than all the rest. It's much faster, and I even have the Google Chrome skin.
Google Chrome is slowly improving, Extensions are coming in version 4, and themes are in 3. I don't really use themes though, because the default actually looks okay with the transparent stuff in vista.
I use Opera, it is fast and has a massive amount of options. At the moment, Google Chrome is too young for me to put full trust in. Once it becomes older I may try it, but by that point I will be so used to Opera it may be hard to change.
Honestly, when it first came out months ago I didn't even think of trying it. And I have yet to try it. I run Windows, and use Firefox and Safari. Google is a big cooperation and I don't know why they would make a browser unless to gain something. They all their money from ad revenue, and everyone hates ads. And I think it would be like IE 7, with tons of security bugs and creating it's own standards of processing scrips and code.
All browsers should abide by a standard. I also like the customizability of Mozilla Firefox. I have edited almost all of the source code and the Chrome. I made it how I want it, and it runs perfectly and faster. Safari is already fast, and is easily customized. I also like the favorite pages, and bookmarks. Cool little feature
I have tried Opera, but it handles cookies improperly and some flash scrips. So it's not that good for me. I need full support.
IE sucks, even IE 8. Lets face it, it has so many things wrong with it. Stick with secure Firefox even if I have to pay
