The only movie I cried for was The Bridge to Terebithea. (How do I spell it...?) the book's sad, too. Really, my mom calls me a stone when it comes to crying for movies. I can get deeply touched, but I rarely cry for any fictional movie. It's still rare for me to cry reading books, but that's less rare than movies.
Where do I start? I have to agree with MrWalker's post (on the 1st page?), Bambi was the first movie that made me cry/scream! For my mom's sake I toughed it out until the fire... Of course, now it doesn't have the same effect on me, I just want to send ninja's after the hunters...
The movie that always makes me cry, when I'm alone, is a tie between Australia and The Great Escape. With Australia, I always cry when Nulla's mom drowns and with The Great Escape, I always cry when the Nazi's let the POW's out for a "smoke" break and they realize, too late, they're the ones getting smoked.
The movie that always make me cry, no matter where I am, is The Shootist, with John Wayne.
It made me sad that there are people out there who actually believe that the kind of disasters portrayed in that film will actually happen in 2012.
rofl, It always amazes me how you so artfully dodge the "sharing" part of the OP. Come on Ernie, what movie gets you choked up?
One that always got to me when I was younger was Dances with Wolves. Dunno why, but that one choked me up at a few parts, especially when they killed the wolf, and at the end when they were leaving the camp and the guy was on the cliff yelling. I've watched it recently and it didn't affect me like that, but I can remember when I was young getting knots in my throat over those.
do anime movies apply?? if yes than one piece movie 6 or idk 7 and i cried at the end of avatar and has anyone noticed the last airbender movie sucks so bad
Ohhh yeah I forgot about Bambi, but I was younger then so obviously it's easier to cry at silly things, like Lion King, when Mufasa dies :'( So I don't ALWAYS cry at it, not any movies at all.. just get choked up mostly. Mainly films like Click...
My mum cried at 'The boy in the striped pyjamas' Which I guess is a sad movie, but it didn't do it for me.
Bridge to Terabithia made me cry the first, second, and a little bit on the third time I watched it. It was so sad... But I haven't seen in it in a long time so I don't remember what was so sad about it that it made me cry.
