Just wondering. Sometimes guns can be good, but then again giving guns to those random terrorists group in Iraq is bad. So generally is it good or bad?
Saying guns are bad is like saying a hammer is bad. Im sure SOMEONE has killed someone else with a hammer before, but it wasn't the hammers fault. Any tool could be used wrong, and im assuming that you mean private owned guns not military, because if we didn't have guns in the military, it would be back to swords and arrows and that's way more bloody than a bullet.

Have you ever seen the affects of a .50 cal hollow point hitting something like a human head? It explodes, thats way bloodier than an arrow hitting a head.
Okay, then lets use this example. Knives were created for fighting, but we use them to eat. When someone kills someone else with a knife, are knives bad? No, the use of something depends on the person.

Very true. I was just pointing something out that people who are against guns might use, I still don't think guns are bad..
Really, anything can be used as a weapon, some things are just far more suited than others.
guns are not bad. the use they are remembered for is bad.
the protection of an easily accessible (yet safely kept) gun in your bedroom is an unmatchable asset to your family. sure, you have alarms, but the only thing that stops someone from breaking your window and killing you is their personal will.
