never heard of A Day To Remember. Well, let me rephrase... I've heard of them, but couldn't name a song by them.

I've heard of the Beastie Boys. I like the Beastie Boys. They are not, however, the best musical talent in the last trillion years.

I don't believe I've heard of Mastodon. Possibly, but again, couldn't name a song by them.

I have too many favorite bands, but off of the top of my head I'd have to go with Pink Floyd. Lots of hits, lots of cult-ish followers. Way too many reasons too vote for them, and almost no reason not to.

mastodon is one of those progressive metal bands. like dream theater exept a little bit more hard core.
