Do you like the harcore gametypes, i.e low health and no hud, or the normal helath and full hud gametypes. Maybe even throw in a why.
I like Hardcore. I usually shoot people first and am better at snapping onto people. When it comes to prolonged tracking I start to lose it. Thats my 2 pennies.
i prefer hardcore search over normal search and destroy anyday, especially funny when people think juggernaught will help them lol.
i play hard core mode, but i drew the retucual on my t.v. screen.
lol i used to do that befoe i realised that camping in a good spot aiming down the sights is a much better way of getting kills than running around trying to hip fire people
Hardcore is a 1 shot 1 kill feature which would never happen in a real life situation, and Softcore is simply with a hud.
The reason I hate CoD4 is because it's unrealistic, small maps, no destructible objects (even Battlefield on the PS3 has that.) and the best way to avoid bullets is by bunny-hopping or Dolphin.
It needs a better way of playing, look at the Obscurity Mode for it, awesome, directional bloodspray, locational damage, and it's easy to play. If I was an Obscurity I could knife you in the leg, you would fall on the floor with only your knife and bleed to death.
Marines - These survivors are holding out against the Obscurity incursion and must survive.
Obscurity - These high-tech, invisible predator(-type) units have a wide array of abilities using their weapon, which isn't very lethal, but can use powerjumps and going through walls makes them a worthy enemy, but... there's another trick. They can possess an enemy, allowed enough time at the right distance, the Obscurity soldier can possess the enemy target, taking control of him, and release from his body when needed, or after enough time has past. The only weakness of these super warriors is their static, if you move too fast (running and sprinting) you will generate static, allowing people to hear you, and could compromise your position, they can only be seen as a small distortion in the air, lower brightness increases contrast on them.
See... try it out, IP for it can be found on an Obscurity Website, the LoG one is good, try it.

actually thats far closer to reality than softcore is, if your not wearing a bulletproof vest , an assault rifle bullet is more than likley to kill you( prettymuch garunteed if it hits you in the head) , maybe not instantly but fairly quickly unless you get medical attension
The reason I hate CoD4 is because it's unrealistic[quote] you kinda contradict yourself by complaining its unrealistic then saying you like obscurity mode which is far more unrealistic i mean cod isnt realistic, but its as realistic as you want a game to be, anymore and it would be far more boring

I like it more too. I find it frustrating that all your efforts of executing a textbook flanking manouvre go to waste when you fire your first round and reveal your position.
Hardcore is also much more useful for when you're sniping, which is a class I tend to use for quite a few maps.
