Following Eddie's question on who did track, I was curious to see what kind of physical activity people do, and how fit people saw themselves.
This is a general survey, so you can give as many or as few details as you like. Also remember that people are all different, in age, body type, and activity, and I'm not here to judge people for being unfit etc.
I'll give y'all an example: 20yo male, 5'11", 150lbs. I see myself as hyperactive in the extreme, and I exercise at least 15 minutes every day, especially when I'm bored or taking a break from something. I have several years' experience in martial arts (mainly tae-kwon-do and kung fu, but also capoeira), free-run and trick (acrobatics), breakdance with a crew for about two hours every week and do ballroom/latin another two hours per week.
I am very unfit. It's not even funny how unfit I am. I'm 5'10 and I weigh almost 200 pounds, all of my muscle in my arms is under a coat of fat, and same with my legs. I can still bench a 45 lb. bar though. I'm not sure how.
I need to gain weight by doing push-ups and working out.
Lucky! ;-P It is so unfair, I love to eat, and my fiance could care less about food. He is trying to gain weight, I am trying to lose weight... If only our dietary needs were switched!
27, 6'0", 115 pounds. I used to weigh 125, but after some injuries and health issues that have prevented me from doing my athletic activities full-bore, I lost the weight.
I do about 30 push ups a day, and anywhere between 50-70 crunches & leg-raises.
I used to do Kung Fu 4-5 hours a week; my last belt test was about 6 hours long with nothing more then like.. a 10 second break between sets of 20 kicks/punches/elbow strikes, you name it. I don't have a chin up bar at home, but when I was hitting the dojo regularly I'd be doing at least 30 after a work out; twenty with my fists inverted and together, and ten with them spread apart and forward. I'm hoping to get back to it very soon....
I'd say I'm pretty fit. I mean I'm not the guy who goes to the gym every day, but I try to excersise at least 15 minutes a day. I also have a fast metabloism that helps me out xD
