i find it quite funny how peo9ple stress out over swine flu, iv got it at the moment and it isnt that bad, sometimes the tamiflu makes me feel worse than the swine flu does. i find it a bit daft aswell how people gte extremly worried when a few people die of swine flu... when thousands of people die of regular flu every year
My friend told me why they are stressing over swine flu. He says its because its VERY contagious, so this winter during the flu season it could spike to a high level and kill off lots o people, including some healthy. Whilst this may be true wtf do they think giving a vaccine for something that has never been curable, i.e. flu of any kind, is going to do. I guess they are trying to show they can keep a lid on a public crysis.I dont really think there is anything we can do and making people worry about it just makes things worse.
There's alot of people I know who have it. I'm probably going to get it. OH WELL. My best freind has it and she's doin just fine without any medicine AT ALL. No worries. It's pretty bad at my school, though. Alot of people are out with it...
Okay, one, I had what I think was swine flu just last week, and guess what, I had a lowgrade fever, 100-101, for 3-4 days and a small cough afterwards. That's so worth panicing over... It's not bad and analogmonkey, you OBVIOUSLY don't know what a vaccine is or does. It's a weakened version of the virus that your body is able to fight off without getting sick, and it prevents you from catching that virus again because it caused your body to produce antibodies that fight it off, so if you get the virus again, your body already has the tools to fight it off before you even notice. Every year you get thousands of germs and what not and you don't even notice because your body is doing what it should. The swine flu is nothing to fret over and whoever it was that said that yes, it killed a few people, but every flu does.
Swine Flu has the same death rate as the seasonal flu. It's simply another strand of the flu, that's all. The media hypes up these "catastrophes" to control your mind.
Now, I'm getting the Swine Flu vaccine, and the seasonal flu vaccine. Not because I'm scared, but because I freaking hate the flu. I get it every year and it sucks.
