The media has a negative influence over women. The media influences women to look good no matter what. Women allow themselves to follow trends, even if it means hurting themselves physically and emotionally in the process. Being able to follow trends gives them a sense of self-gratification. The media portrays the "ideal beauty". Whether it is being extremely thin, using violence, occupying sexuality, or wearing revealing clothing, this all has a negative influence over women. As a result, these trends may end up being a style of life for some women.
Do you let yourself surcome to these negative influences, or are you confident in yourself? I know the media causes a lot of self esteem issues, but I want to get a grasp on how much exactly. And please be honest, no one will judge, and if they do they are ignorant fools that are under the imprisonment of the media anyways.
