My strat is to build 20 any kind of ships. 1 each around my planet. If an enemy comes send 3 or four ships out to kill it. And put them back into position.
How was the game? Tell why. Post strats. Your favorite ships to use.
Probably my current favorite game on the site. I wrote a very long review about it, but the stupid site optimization didn't allow me to post it.
My advice is that you build lots of torpedoes and take over any planet you can. If you build torpedoes, they do all the work for you. Torpedoes...work...wonders!
The AI isn't that good...I only got up to the third sector though =/
Like, I had...a few armored fighters killed because they were either circling around the planet I was trying to kill or just not shooting...they were just sitting there...
They only shoot at moving targets, I believe. Or still enemy targets that have broken the planetary barrier. But no, I don't think their range is long enough to hit buildings. Use the interplanetary missiles for that.
Hmm, just replayed it, built a second base and loaded it with torpedoes.
They were chasing the enemy miner's around XD
Normally the miners would die like, just at the edge of the buildings and the torpedoes would sorta fly through them so they can't hit buildings...and they disappear when the target dies
Well, my strat is just make 15 miners at the start, build 3 to 4 laser and one missile in one place that will draw the enemy ships to it. Make two repair drones, one or two stealth ships to help defense and take out artillery as needed. Upgrade laser to 3rd, tech to tier5 and build an orbital destroyer or two. upgrade laser more with spare resources.
That $1500 ship is so absurdly powerful it can clean entire fleets and bases all by itself if you control it properly.
