Photoshop is for doing something completely different though...
You might want to take a class, that is the only way I could probably learn. If you don't want to though, you'll have to scour through numerous tutorials. Try checking on Newgrounds.
There are plenty of helpful vids on youtube that I used to learn but online guides can help, too. Just Google it or go to a class like shayneii suggested
Flash is tricky to learn. i'm not sure wh yyou downloaded a program you don't know how to use. Becuse unless you got it illegally, that software will run you some mager bucks dude.
i'm taking classes on it but sadlty they have not started yet. So I can not help you.
