wait this link didnt make sense i meant when people use a word instead of that long string of numbers and letters

this is how you do it:

But take out the 'slashes' at the beggining/end of bb code. Also, somewhere in the New Comers Forum, theres a BB Code Tutorial, which is what this all is. But some of them dont work for AG, and on other sites may not work at all.

Click the blue 'Link' button, and enter in the link and click 'ok'.

It should look like this format [/url=http://armorgames.com/community/thread/4672105links]

Then type in the words you want it to show up as.

[/url=http://armorgames.com/community/thread/4672105links] Words go here!

And finally click the 'Link' Button again and a [/url] should show up at the end finishing your link.

And if you do it right it should look like this:

To make it like that, do this;

[url*=*Web Address*] Your Word Here [/url]

Just Take out the astericks (*) and replace the 'Web Address' with a link and it will show up as 'Your Word Here' but as a link.

Remember to put an end tag on... All codes on AG had in end tag, the url one does too.
