Father: Storm, get yourself out of here! These damn rogues will kill you if you make yourself known! Mother: Faron, they're here! Faron (father): Joni, get out of here! I'll fend them off, now RUN! Joni (mother): No!
Joni gets striked on the back by a rogue.
Faron: JONI! Joni: ...Protect...Storm...
Joni dies.
Faron: You will pay for this, you bloodthirsty thieves!
Faron kills every last rogue in the building.
Faron walk over to Storm, with tears in his eyes.
Faron: Storm, promise me... you'll never follow the ways of a rogue. Storm: But why daddy? Faron: They are good for nothing murderers! If you became one Storm, I... I WOULD HATE YOU! Storm: Stop it daddy, you're scaring me! Faron: I'm sorry son... but they killed your mother... I just hate them... so badly, and if I had the chance... I would hang everyone of those... uh... Storm... RUN!
Faron falls down with a huge knife mark in his back.
Storm tries to run but is stopped by a rogue.
The rogue is shot in the back by a distinctive looking man. The man approaches Storm.
Man: Is it Storm? Storm: Uh... yes mister. Man: Hmm... you may be of use to the council. Come, child, I will bring you to safety. Storm: My daddy said not to talk to strangers. Man: Haha, Faron was always a wuss... Storm, your father is dead and right now, I am the only person you can trust. You can come with me, and I will protect you, or, I can leave you here, and you will die. So what do you say?
Storm thinks.
Storm: Um... okay. Man: Good boy, now come with me, I will bring you to Shelter, there you will get to meet lots of young children of your age. Storm: Yay! ===================================================================== Road to Shelter
Storm: Um... excuse me mister, but, what is your name/ Man: Ah, how rude of me, my name is Fog. Storm: Oh, why hello there, Mr. Fog! Fog: Haha... well, hello to you, young Storm. You know kid, I like you.

Storm had became a very skilled fighter, but he still lacked the experience to be known as a rogue.
He had grown very close to Fog, and Fog and grown close to him.
The other young children of Shelter envied young Storm, some more than others.

Bruno: Anyway, that hill is packed with a load of furious fiends that would kill you if they got the chance. I want you to climb the hill and kill everything in your path. In the cave at the top of the hill lurks Hugbarge, a huge three-headed dog. I want you to slay it and bring me one of it's front canines.
