Come on man! PS3 and Xbox 360? Whats the difference? can't we just love each other and our exclusive games and just be done with it? Yeah, why can't everyone stop hating the Wii!? So it has a few suckish games. Makes up for it with the ****ing awesome ones (Metroid Prime 3, Twilight Princess, etc...).
In all honesty, I don't really care weather or not one system is better then the other. All i want is one that actually plays games, and most of all the ones I enjoy playing.
There's always gonna be people who argue over which is better. Whether they decide to debate it like intelligent beings, or just bash the crap out of each other, is for them to decide. If I was system biased, I would probably go for the former :P
Also, money was tight when I got mine around Christmas, hah. Back when PS3 cost around 500 bucks.
I know right... that's pretty much why I only got a PS3 a few months ago. Sony (and Microsoft and Nintendo) think we have money trees in our backyard's. Although I did lol at my cousin when I got mine for $299 (he bought his at launch)

Its about time someone finally said that. I'm a PS3 gamer, and I believe that the Xbox360 is equal to that of the PS3.
My little anylisis is this: The Xbox360 is more of a game system, and the PS3 is more of an entertainment center. The Xbox360 is pretty much focused on just games. It has the best exclusives (in my opinion) and it has better online play. Now the PS3 is not as good as the Xbox360 when it comes to games. Lets face it- Xbox360 has a better online, and that is what alot of games are centered around nowadays. However, the PS3 is more of a media center. It has a better harddrive and it is better for playing movies, TV shows, ect. Not to mention that unlike the Xbox360, it is BlueRay compatable.
So the bottom line is this- If you are looking for a platform for just gaming, and you want the best gaming platform out there, go for the Xbox360. If you are looking for a platform that is capeable of gaming and being a media center, go fot the PS3.
So its really all up to your opinion of which one is better. Personal opinions aside, they are both equals.
360 fanboys always say that. And I'm still wondering... how? They always just say oh it's better, but never explain why.
Ok... the genral population likes 360 online better. The 360 online has way more exclusives then the PS3 too. Just two examples are add-ons for Fallout 3 and GTA 4.

I completly agree I hate it when stupid fanboys arguing about which console is better the graphics are the same there is xbox live and PSN. And most of the games are multi-platform so they are on 360 and ps3. There are only a few diffrences like the price of the ps3 and the fact you have to pay for xbox live, yes also there are some exlusives like uncharted and little big planet for the ps3 and halo and fable for 360. But basically they are the same thing.

Thats not true I have a 360 and Im used to the controller but i suppose i did used to have a ps2 but that was ages ago.
