I have one that belonged to my mother when she was a little girl, and I might have one even older in storage that belonged to my grandmother from when she was a little girl.

This sounds like it should be in the tarvern.

I thought you were atheist...
But anyways, my family shares one. We have a few, actually.

I'm sorry for getting off topic but when I first read this, I thought you said "brother" and "grandfather" instead of "mother" and "grandmother". If you replace those words, this statement sounds pretty humorous.

I have one bible. I use it mostly to find verses that contradict it. I got it a long time ago, and I can't really remember how old the darn thing is.

Atheists can own bibles too, you know. Just like Muslims, Jews and Hindus can. Owning one doesn't mean you believe it.

I am does that mean I can't own a Bible?

Actually I own about four or five versions of the Christian Bible. I also have the Book of Mormons, Urantia Book, Dianetics (that's a book used in Scientology) and several books on Wiccan magick.

He probably has them so he can study them to see what other religions believe.

I seriously lmao when I read that, you actually PAYED money for a book for Scientology?

Actually no I didn't it belonged to me dad and I think someone gave it to him.

Exactly, while I don't believe in them I do find religion to be a fascinating subject.

Practices of other religions intrigue me. I love learning about beliefs that are different from mine.
