A guitar riff is usually a catchy 5 - 15 second tune or series of notes. Most people who have played or do play guitar have all played some sort of riff. Many songs have become famous for their catchy riffs. For example âSmoke on the Waterâ, âSunshine of Your Loveâ, and âRock You Like a Hurricaneâ. For this contest all you will need to do is use your creativity and skill to create a simple yet catchy guitar riff. It does not have to be anything fancy, just enough for the judges to clearly see you have the most original and creative riff, and that you put some effort into it. IT IS THAT SIMPLE! You may post more than one riff, but you can only win one award per 2 weeks. If you won platimun guitarist the previous week, you can only be eligible for the champions exibit. The judge will be myself, but I could use one extra experienced judge. (If you are interested please leave a comment on my page, and tell me your experience with guitar.) Judging will be every two weeks.
