**Please take this seriously; for everything about this thread is serious.

Planet Earth in the near future; well lets just say there is no such thing. We'll call it No Man's Land. Not that there isn't man, just that no man owns it, well not like there is much to own. Normally I would tell you the date and year but no one has a real formal way of knowing, but in a society that lives by the day, the year doesn't matter.

Welcome to The Planetary Fallout Guide; where you get to survive the wastelands and ruins of the once great human civilization. Starting as anyone in anyplace that you wish (no actual people may be used). Also, create plans, new enemies, weapons, and more to test the wits of your fellow peers (idea based off the Zombie Survival Club). This Guide is a test, but more specifically a scrap book of tests. "Live and learn. . ." says the old cliché, but you say "Learn and live. . .", but sometimes that's the way it's gotta be.

Welcome to the newer and, hopefully, more user-friendly Planetary Fallout Survival Guide. We've made some large changes and would like to know what you think:
- Simple and Easy Fill-out v.2
- *new* Stat Sheet v.1
- *new* Guide v.1
-----------------------------
-----------------------------
Guide v.1
-----------------------------
Stats:
-- Major Skills: You may only pick 2 of the skills as two of your major skills. This does not mean the other skills not chosen will be unusable, they won't contribute to the attributes they govern as well as the ones that are your major skills.

-- Leveling Skills: Over time you will level your skills, which in turn will raise your attributes. This will affect how well your person will survive. You level stats from completing tasks that relate to that certain skill. e.g.: You capture and cook a rabbit, that in turn Increases your Stealth and Culinary.

-- Attributes: You don't pick major attributes for the attributes are affected by the stats they are governed by. When a stat goes up the attributes that stat governs go up.
-----------------------------
Condition:
-- Physical: Your physical condition is broken up into three sections: Damage, Hunger, and Thirst. These will directly affect your character in either good or bad ways. If you neglect to eat or drink, your character will suffer. You may not know it but these things can affect just more that your character's overall well-being.

~ Damage: This will be the physical damage you may have sustained from almost anything, like battles, accidents, and natural disasters.

~ Hunger: When you eat: this replenishes, when you don't: it goes down. Nice and simple. All you gotta do is try to keep your gut full. It's like the Sims, :P.

~ Thirst: Keep your character hydrated above all. Going without water for 3 days is very damaging. You'll be lucky if you last a week!

-- Mental: Your mental condition is broken up into two sections: Sanity and Hope. These are directly affected by your physical condition and your stats. Also the actions you make partake or even not take part in.

~ Sanity: Try to keep your person sane. Doing so will not only give you more options in situations, but give you better ones also. Not to mention the chances of gaining a companion are greatly improved.

~ Hope: Nothing like Sanity, this has to do with your character's will to live. Once you lose this, you die. That's it, Game Over.
-----------------------------
Inventory:
-- This is what your character will be carrying on his/herself at all times. As you level up and increase certain stats, you will be able to carry more items and/or weight. You may fill your inventory with whatever you can get your hands on in real life. And don't forget to include what you are holding everything in as an item in your inventory, e.g.: Backpack.
-----------------------------
Miscellaneous:
-- This will be an area where items of greater importance will be held, e.g: Quest Items. The items in this area will not encumber you no matter their weight.

this sounds like a forum game to me.

It does have some Forum Game qualities but it also has the planning and sharing that a Club would have. Here is what I mean:

- We create disasters/scenarios which other members can create to test his/her fellow peers on their survival skills
- We create new weapons and enemies people can encounter during one of their RPG sessions.
- We criticize each other on how to survive and our own survival techniques.

Those are the qualities that I see as having it remaining here, in The Tavern.

Similar. We create scenarios and plans like that, but there is also an RPG built right in. :] It will be quite fun really. Say you're in an RPG mode, just RPG away. But if you wanna make a scenario for someone than go ahead.
