I don't know if it is just me or what but I have noticed here lately there is a lot of spam as comments for different games. I mean not only on old games that nobody plays hardly anymore but also new games. It seems like AG might could do something about this. I know they can not possibly delete all the spam from game comments, but maybe make some more Mods or make some people where they can only delete comments, if they feel that is spam, and not have the full power, such as locking threads or moving threads and giving merits, so there is not as much spam.
I believe ArmoGames is mostly in fault for the spam.
Im sorry if this offends anyone, but here's how I see this. People SOMEHOW don't understand that just going, "ok" isn't spam, that or they are trying to get points and go to everygame and just say, "ok" or "cool" A pretty good way to fix this in my opinion would just be that the submit button doesn't let you submit until you have at least 30 words, then if they aren't the least bit on topic everyone will notice it and tell they didn't even play the game.
I have lost points due to saying "cool" , "liked it" ect... They want comments so that the developer can understand why or why not you like a game. Maybe its the graphic that kept your interest, or just the music. They don't know unless you let them know. This is for thier benefit as well as yours. If the majority of people find the same problems with a game, or the same dislikes, the developer can then take these suggestions and make a better game for everybody. Better game, better time.

Like me, and others, suggested before in this thread... this is definitely a great idea, but 30 words minimum would be a bit excessive don't you think? =/ I'm sure that the truly committed gamers want to give their opinion, but it could also mean that either they are not much of a writer or simply just want to play the games, not write a long article on the ins and outs of the games.
I think this is a tricky subject for ArmorGames... Do they want to keep all gamers (including the lesser writers) happy or only the devoted gamers that take the time to write a deacent comment? =S

I agree, 30 words is overkill. I'm not that much of a writer and sometimes when I play at night I don't feel like writing a long comment. I will put down what I liked/disliked about the game and maybe put how they could change it, but I'm not really into writing 30 words per game comment.
u know what i think? I think u guys are wasting time talking about things that have been discussed in AG for more than enough times. The mods know of this and are constantly working hard to stop such things. Guess how many mods there are. lets say 10 (not sure). now, consider the comments of those pesky spammers. i am not sure but lets say 5000 ( what, there are like more than that but this is just spammers). so how do 12 mods check for 5000 spam posts a day? when they are on comp right? so if checking for spam posts there only duty? no, they have to read through stupid threads like this to look for spams too. so if you wanna decrease spam, stop making stupid threads and this thread will attract spammers cause they will come here and act totally against spam and then laugh (not directly) that they didnt get caught. do you want that to happen? no then .... i forgot. wtv, this should be enough
If something is being done inefficiently, then it something should be done about it.

I read something about an outside duo of gamers that made their business in checking spam and other related bugs for ArmorGames in a thread somewhere... So the mods are not busy checking that out and can focus on their jobs as mods. I just don't remember where I read this... Anyone? =)
