In Bloons Tower Defense 4 (a.k.a. BTD4) you pretty much just pop balloons for the whole game so here's some tips about what to do to get to the big levels:

1. Towers
When you start a new game or you're just starting to actually play you place weak towers right? That's why at the beginning you start with the weak towers and buid up to the big ones because if you start out with the big tough towers you won't be able to keep up with the prices. So main thing start with the weak towers, build up to the big towers.

2.Tower placing
If you have the strategy or idea of what tours you're going to use then you have to think about where you're going to place them. The best place to put the towers is where the would pop the most balloons. Like a cannon in the corner of a turn will do alot of area damage. So main thing think about where you are going to place your towers based on whatb they do.

3.Upgrades
When you buy a tower they always have upgrades right? That's why you want to rank up to unlock the upgrades. But spend your money carefully. If you've unlocked a new ugrade for a tower try it out in sandbox mode ( if you've unlocked it) to strategize. So main thing use your upgrades wisely!

4.levels
As you progress through the game you get to higher levels so you want to buiild a strategy to get to the high levels.
What i'm saying is practice, practice, practice to build the best strategy possible. Once you've achieved that just try to keep going, and going, and going! So main thing build a strategy to get to the higher levels!

5. Mochi Upgrades
You probably already know that there are Mochi upgrades. My perspective of them: they ruin the fun. I don't use them because I like to play fair. I would only use them if you beat everysingle track on easy, medium, and hard. So main thing only use Mochi upgrades if you've COMPLETELY beaten the game.

Those are the tips that I've got so I hope they help with your gaming on BTD4!

I disagree firetail. It's true they don't affect MOABs or BFBs but they do affect ceramic bloons. Also they are very useful because, if you get glue splatter, you glue big areas of bloons so, not only does the glue slowly eat away at them, but they slow the bloons very much so it's easier for the other towers to pop them.

They do stick onto ceramic bloons but don't do anything to them.

Glue gunners are good for apocolypse mode, until you start getting a constant stream of MOAB's and BFB's. My favorite combo is getting 2-4 spikeapult monkeys and mortar cannons. You can control 95% of all the bloons with just 5-6 towers. Anything that gets by that is put into a wall of fire, 3-4 tack towers fully upgraded after your main defense and it's pretty hard to lose. #1 tip, get banana farms as soon as you can.

Just make sure getting the banana farm doesn't kill you.
Banana farms do make up for the road spikes you use :P

Yeah that leads to another tip. Don't be afraid to use road spikes. They really don't cost that much, and if they make the difference between losing lives or not, use them. Also, if you have to spend your last bits of money on banana farms and dont have enough to make towers to finish every bloon, a few road spikes can make up the difference during the round.

Glue gunners are useless.
The corrosive glue will not last long enough because other towers kill them quicker, and they don't affect BFBs, MOABs or even ceramic bloons!

That is why I concentrate my towers at the beginning. I then leave a big middle part of the map open so the corrosive glue takes effect.

Rings of fire destroys everything that isn't a MOAB or BFB

Ding. Ding. Ding. That's why I favor sun gods. Rings of fire aren't rawly powerful enough to be effective deep into the 100s. I made it to 116 with sun gods, beacons and arctic winds at the front and wizards. beacons, and arctic winds throughout the back.

Yah that's true. You'd pretty much die every time you got in the 110's and so on without sun gods. They're the ultimate character( but you have to get banana farms to generate enough money to get them). Seriously try doing it without them. It's impossible.

No, it's impossible without loads of wizards throughout the middle and ened of the map. But the sun gods at the very start are also very useful, more so later on than lots of rings of fire would be.

Oh yeah forgot to mention the wizards. They're your main delay for big groups of bloons. And they do major damage as long as you have tempest tornado.

Keep in mind the cost difference between the sun gods and the ring of fire >.>

Sungod is more useful at the entence. ring of fire is better at the connoers and even better when paired up with arctic wind.

Sun God, when used at the entrance, does not maximize it's range.
lalala12, have you unlocked them?
