Most furries admit to having one or more fetishes, and fetishes are actually quite common anyway...
I draw furry art and do not object to being called furry (won't really object to being called an abomination either, it's a wickedly cool word however negative it may be intended). And I "study" fetishes as a hobby. Quotation marks because it's lots of reading, but it's not really official studying.
I'm having trouble seeing the point of this thread, though. One option being a subculture that you choose whether you want to be part of or not, the other being a mental condition. Well, maybe not condition. But it's stuff in your head that you don't specifically choose to like.
I actually was just watching someone make a furry costume, it creeps me out a little, but i really don't mind it, i think i would be a rhino, or a mastodon.
fox furry. Have liked furries for two years and not about to stop now. found a friend who like them too but then they left for france and yet again im the only person i know who likes them.
I'm not sure if the two con be compared. Looking at furry from the sexual aspect, wouldn't this not be regarded as a fetish and be able to be placed in the others category?

Taco a furry isnt a person who has sex, a yiffian is. I think.... I don't really look these things up mostly because I would rather not know which is which.
