Everytime I post a link I get this (its an eg)

[url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfPHL91GGrg]

and i will try posting picture.

www.iss.k12.nc.us/.../pparker/hurricane.jpg

and see if this works for me...

What am I doing wrong... all I do is copy paste in this...

To the Link button and it comes up with just text etc...

You need to close your URL tag with [/url]

For your image, you are missing http://

But if I click teh link button and paste in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfPHL91GGrg should it not do that automaticly

I try it with same brackets as auto image button

Bah... that didnt work, so what am I doing wrong with picture thingy?

I put in

Without the arrows. ???? Im stumped

How do I also put the link in but name it differently.

Anymore help is eternally appreciated

Maybe a different question of this sort, but here it goes...

If I want to refer someone to a link, I always place the link in the comment (like AnaLoGMunky did) and that works fine, but...
how come I see that other people are able to place links in comments 'under a single word or sentence'?!?

For instance like someone places a comment with a link to a certain game, it says:

"Find the game here."

The word 'here' appears blue (yes I know it's black now :P but you know what I mean), meaning it's a link, and it automatically represents a link pasted 'behind' it.

HOW DO THEY DO THAT?!?! :O
