Would you trade your religion for 10 million dollars?
If you were a Christian would you stop going to church, reading the bible, and praying for 10 million dollars. If you were an atheist would you go to church every sunday, pray, and read the bible. Think about it 10 million dollars.

I would take the money BUT I wouldnt get a religion where you have to pray all the time. For example, some kind of ancient Greek religion.

Sounds good to me. Now... which god should I worship?

Lemme see... I call myself a kind of Agnostic Christian... I believe in the possibility that there is a God but don't pray or whatnot...

Actually, screw it, I don't take religion too seriously anyway, I'd take the money no matter what I was.

I would not trade my religion for any sum of money. Worldly things like money are great, but I value God over anything.

Religious people, I don't see why you all would do something like this. You mostly believe that if you are devout then you will go to heaven, and if you are blasphemous you will burn in hell, right? For eternity? So I would think that you would stick to your guns.
But us atheists and agnostics...we like our moneys. Hehe.

I know, but don't they believe that they will only be on Earth for a while, and no matter how many worldly goods you have, if you die unbelieving, then you will burn in hell for all eternity? I mean...that's a pretty good convincer right there.

You know, even if you're like 10 and you are a Christian and you trade it for 10 million bucks, about 70 years with a hunk of cash isn't nearly worth the rest of forever in Hell.

Yah know... I think that if you really would trade your religion for millions of dollars, then you are not totally invested/believing in your religion in the first place (no offense to anyone, that is just my humble opinion).

if you're willing to trade your beliefs for whatever amount of money it means you never had it in the first place. And if you're an atheist getting paid to go to church is just easy money, it doesn't make you any less of an atheist (and since you don't believe in God you probably don't give a shit about risking going to hell for mocking christianity... or any other religion)

If they just moronically gave me the money and expected me to keep my word, I surely wouldn't keep it, and just grab the money and be happy with my life. If they made me sign a contract, I would deal with it for that amount of money. Heck, I would argue during the church sessions, just to get kicked out. Also, Just because I am atheist, doesn't mean I haven't read the Bible. If you aren't religious, it is just another book. One of the greatest novels of all time.

what would a 14 year old like me do with $10,000,000? Invest?

Those of you saying you would give it to the church, what church would actually want your filthy money (besides Catholics)? XD

Mormons offically gave up polygamy when the state pardoned thier intentional ignoring of the law and forced them to legally have only one wife. This did not cause their other wives to leave, they simply stayed but did not have legal acknoledgement. If the government hadn't done so they would still be as they were then today.

10 million to believe in a god? No thanks.

And I do not really consider this "World Events, Etc." worthy. There is religion, yes. But does not have meaty subject matter. So...yeah.
