Welcome to the Wild West RPG. Set in 1868, just recently after the end of the American Civil War, you can do just about anything you want to. Play as anything or anyone from that timeset, really. From outlaws to sheriffs to gamblers to pioneers to merchants to immigrants to politicians...well, you get the idea.
OK, now because this RPG is going to give its players so many freedoms, it is going to be a little different from the others.
Name: Whatever you want, although I request you have both a first and a last name. Age: An age. Be reasonable. Gender: Male or female. Class: Make your own class; anything you can think of. Skills: Only two for the entire game. You can fill this out, if you have a specific idea or two for it, or I can, after you've made your class. This is a very flexible RPG. Because it does not have a lot of storyline or character interaction, it does not require for its players to have a strict attendance, however it will be very complicated and you need to be imaginitive; remember, you have a lot of liberties in this game that you wouldn't in most others. In this way, it is very different from my other RPGs. However, I think that this will be very fun; just life in the Old West, yanno? Anyways, so.... Let it begin.

Seems good Joe, except is he still in the cavalry during peacetime, or is he a veteran currently unemployed? And with Outdoorsman, we could replace that with Lay of the Land. Finally, Horsemanship is good, but maybe instead of the horse that he starts out with being good, maybe he could be a good rider, instead? It'd have the same effect, but that way, if he loses the starting horse, he'd still be as well off when riding. Just tell me what you think. I want the skills to be long lasting; remember, you only get those two for the whole game.

Great. You are just a peaceful, down-to-earth farmer in Wisconsin. A lot of your profit comes from your cow and the corns and similar grains. Several of the young men in your hamlet were killed in the recent Civil War, but you stayed home, and now you are one of the few able-bodied people left in the town; the rest were killed or crippled in the war, or have left to help construct the Inter-Continental Railroad being built, so there is a lot of work available for you, however your town and its economy is falling due to the lack of strong workers. What will you do?
Oh, and Joe, one last thing. Sorry I forgot this, but in your Description, it says you were a Union soldier. But Texas was a Confederate supporter. So did you move to Texas after the war or what?

While at first glance it is not apparent, you begin to see the trouble; there is a lack in men your age, and the people at second look, seem thin and sleep deprived from lack of food. Many of them simply cannot work anymore or, in the case of women, are simply having difficulty finding work because of their condition. Due to this, they are starving. Now that the exploration and pioneering rage is slightly over, not many people need a guide, and now that the war is over, not many people need a bodyguard, although it is still quite a lucrative business. Still, it's hard to find work there. What will you do?
