Although the current way of navigating through the forums is working quite decently, it lacks a few key items. For example: It could very well use a 'search' option to find topics you want to find. Also, it could also do with an option to view all your own posts, the ability to see who posted last on your thread etc. Please take a look at these suggestions and that of others.
Yours sincerely,

Forum search: We have that. Sticky in this section, works fine.
Who posted on thread: If you are concerned about that, bookmark the thread, go back and look, that way it does not get lost either.
Your posts: So that the mods can see all the spam? Anyway, take anyone with more than 100 posts. Think of the lag and how it is going to pull down on the site because there need to be a certain amount of memory just for that.

Anyway, Last two have been suggested a number of times, and will be implemented if they do.

We don't have forum search. And do stickies have anything to do with this?

Who posted on thread: If you are concerned about that, bookmark the thread, go back and look, that way it does not get lost either.

That's for if it's lost. But you can still look to the right to see who's posted on it.

That i will agree with, but not on the spam part. It would lag the site some what.

Anyways, the search has been brought up many times and is now in the common suggestion list. And by viewing your posts do you mean like viewing the threads you've made, or every post? And as i said look to the right, and it will show the last comment on the thread.

We do have a forum search. It is located in the row of stickies.
It is probably the closest we will get on a proper forum search, and though it was based on google and made by a user, it is still viewed as rather close to being "the official forum search" (which should be obvious as it has been stickied)
It is located here and should work okay.
The old search that was located by the game-search created a massive lag (I have been told, it was before my time) and what taken down to prevent that lag, much like the 'recently online'-list. And I doubt it will come back unless they find some awesome way of implementing it.

That's for if it's lost. But you can still look to the right to see who's posted on it.

If you care about who replied to your thread and only is interested in if your friends/the regulars/mods/popular users have replied, then you should NOT have made the thread in the first place.
Threads should be a topic of discussion and thus you should be more concerned about what have been said instead of who have.
So if you want to know who have posted for the sake of knowing, at least take the time to read the replies as well, otherwise do not make any threads.

It has been requested quite a few times, often with the argument that it would make it a lot easier for the mods (and all the other users) to find out if a user spams. It was denied for the simple reason that it quickly would discredit other users and would result in massive flame attacks against the people who have been spamming, and that users who had become better would be laughed at for having spammed in their time as newbie.
In one of these topics someone pointed out nicely that is you cannot remember what you posted, you probably did not say anything important.

So there. That is my reasoning.
