Does anyone know of anywhere I could go to get a walkthrough, faq, or tips for the game? (any forum posts or sites)

Try Rogue, make sure you focus your abilities, upgrade house ASAP and get second ally, Use henchmen as often as needed (i used them a lot...), also get Small Gun skill upto 7 so you can use Laser Gun.
I also found the hunter to be a good starting class (the arrows pierce, do decent damage, and there is not much of a reload time for them.)
I still don't see how anyone does anything with the rogue or hunter, they seem the worst classes to me. The best class to go with in my opinion is the sheriff, the shotgun does good damage and the Dr.Holliday upgrade lets you fire off 9 shots with a combat shotgun later on, that's one, a decent spread, and two, good damage and chance of hitting critical areas. Just do a starter game, get many medals and buy lots of chickens, then once you get some medals, restart, buy the museum and chickens and get a few partners and your set.
