I find it interesting how the Titans were still there and alive, when they were overthrown by the Olympians. It sucks to be overthrown by your kids.

He isn't well known to the general public. Most of the attention is focused on the Olympians. When a typical person unversed in mythology is asked about Greek gods, he/she would immediately think of one of the Olympians.
It is suggested that he only had a big following in Rhodes, and was minor elsewhere. Sad.
I think some people also attribute his job to Apollo, for some reason.
Gradually, Helios become more and more associated with Apollo.
