I am not Bob. YOu are all Bob. Perhaps as an aggregate Bob, perhaps as a divide Bob. But you are still Bob. I am not Bob. Understood? Good, good. I speak to Bob. To you. Bob is divided into many different people, all with different names, personalities, interactions . . . but you are all Bob. Spencer is bob. Elizabeth is Bob. Pierce is Bob. Jonnycakes? Yes, he is also Bob. Bob is togetherly apart, apartly together. None of you are Bob, yet all of you are Bob. Bob's core is the center of a multi-way tug-of-war on a stage of personalities . . . I speak to Bob, Bob replies, speaks amongst Bob, and I speak directly to parts of Bob. Bob is in an octagonal room. I am as well. Bob does not have the keyboard. I do.

Me: This is . . . something new . . . something old . . . but also new . . . the mentality of the old . . . in the package of the new. Is it . . . sanityun? No. Saunnity? No. Usnanity? No. It is . . . Unsanity. Let it begin.

Chill: Ummmm . . . so you're not letting me be in on this?

Me: What? Of course you're in on this. We're the ones who aren't Bob. They're all Bob.

Chill: Is Bob the final creation of unsanity?

Me: No, He is the observations of it. Pieced into many people pieced into Bob.

Chill: Is Bob DystoBob?

Me: No. He is Bob.

A) Because this section happens to be where the people we want here happen to be.
B) This is a never ending play of sorts, making it writing.
C) Reason A

Reason A is most important because well, this thread would easily get hijacked by people who don't even realize spamming in there is against the rules. I'm sorry for the potentially intelligent people in there, but most of them are idiots. Complete idiots.

Now this may or may not be an opinion, but by my AG existence it is the truth in my eyes. I have nothing against the forum games itself, just the people in it. 5 months ago I would have said maybe, but not today. I don't want 12 year olds who couldn't write a complete sentence that would be held up to 2nd grade math becoming a majority in this thread.

They will take it as a discussion thread, and it will end up being eaten by the lockness monster because of spam.

So, please?

Also Strop, it turns out that I don't venture much out of the Art Forums, so I would forget about this if it were in the Forum Game section.

Plus people sometimes draw things! Like Jessanta and Mantajess!

And in the end it involves us REGULARS...because we have All-Bran.

Jess: Bahahaha I remember the first time you said that. I was offended.
Skye: She was disgusted!
Jess: Ergh..
Skye: I thought it was funneh.
Jess: Howabout, if we drew more and added a storyline, this would be worthy of the AMW. Though I think it's worthy enough already, having been going for a good cumulative 100+ pages and having generated a lot of interest and... some... confusion from the (admittedly not always present due to spammers. Though most of our spammers have even helped the thread by becoming infamous = zlith) witty banter between colourful characters.
Skye: Oh oh, and this thread founded a few of the characters in the WoM!

Tussla, I'll have you know that I frequent the Forum Games section. And I seem to recall you have had a few RPGs, the most recent of which is the Serial Killer one?
Just saying...
And Strop, honestly, I think this might fit in the Forum Games section, but we are kind of creating a story, aren't we? And loathe as I am to admit it, Tussla Coil does have a point. Most of the people in the FG section would just barge in and ruin it. Not that this won't happen here, but it's just less likely; and we can't say something like: Limited to _ Only, because who knows who fits what label, and besides, the last time I tried to do that with a debate(the Philosoraptor Club), it got locked. So...yeah. I wouldn't mind that much if you moved it to the Forum Games section, though.

Jonathan: Jess, Skye, Nicho, you can eat your food now.
Jess: *pokes at food* Er...*trying to be polite* It's really nice...
Skye: Don't mince words. That food has been sitting out untouched for half a day. There's ants in it, the meat is rotting, the milk is curdling, and I think I just saw a fly lay eggs in it. You couldn't get me to eat that stuff at gunpoint.
Sweet Moat: Oops. I guess I forgot to put it in the fridge. But it seems like such a shame, all that food wasted...
Moat: You could give it to Insane Moat. He'll eat anything.
Manta: Wouldn't that...like, be bad for him?
F: Would serve him right. I reckon my digestive system hasn't been the same ever since he gave me the poisoned laxatives.
Manta: But still...couldn't we be sued or something?
Moat: *snorts* Manta, he eats his own food every day. A little sour milk and rotten meat can't touch him.
Manta: What does he put in his food?
Tussla: If I may take this one...last I checked it was arsenic, strychnine, and cyanide?
Jonathan: Not arsenic, recently. He heard it was high in cholesterol. He's been using botulinum instead.
Tussla: Oh. Well. So...all in favor of feeding the bad food to Insane Moat?

Tussla: Sorry guys, I won't be able to feast.
Moat: Why?! It's delicious!
Tussla: I lost my appetite chewing out a bunch of newbs.
Moat: I know watcha mean.
Jess: *through eating the stuffing* Thish ish absholutely scrumptioush though. Really, sit down and eat it with ush.
Tussla: Nah, I fear I may have to take out the cane. These young'uns need a lesson from their betters.

Moat: Tussla....you should read mah last post. The food went bad. We were voting on whether or not to feed it to Insane.

Skye: Ahhhhh I lol'd. I'm thinking maybe Tussla just wants Jess to die after calling his friend Oreo xD
Jess: Ack!
Skye: Tussla's gone anyway. He quit.
Jess: -scrapes tongue-
Skye: -muses- ...I still miss the oldies....
Jess: -ploughs through the bathroom for mouthwash-
Skye: Mhm, anyway. I agree, give Insane the rotten food!

So let's see, the main argument that I'm reading is that this thread is here because the people who post in it usually post here? And if I did move the thread it would die in ignominity?

There's a simple solution to that: if you were sufficiently concerned about the thread you would link to it in your profile or otherwise bookmark it, as I have done for the various aspects of the WoM, regardless of where it happens to be.

So moving onto the other arguments... despite your claims I'm still not convinced that this qualifies as "art, music or writing" in the forum sense. I'm well aware that this could become an argument about as tedious and useless as trying to find concrete meaning in deconstructivism and post-modernism, but nonetheless this forum purports to having some kind of basic qualifiers over what goes in which place.

The biggest issue as I see it is this: you're also concerned about what happens if it DOES become a forum game? Well okay, I can see that if it's open to a wider audience more people would probably post in it and interrupt proceedings, but by this definition, you guys are running a closed club. As you know, we much prefer if AG-related clubs are run off-site, because there is an unspoken policy that any thread on AG must be both appropriately placed and open to all constructive posters. It's anathema to a public forum to have private elements.

This is where we run into difficulty: I'm currently trying to think of a place convenient for that. Given the nature of the posting it'd be impractical for me to ask you guys to move to some kind of chatroom.

So for now carry on, I guess, until something gets figured out.

I was wondering about setting up a new Section for this. A little extreme, but one without AP, and tbbh (to be brutally honest), to me, at least it doesn't belong in the AMW. Sure, at first it did fit in, but more like an overweight nerd kid in a crowd, the stick out a little. The other threads in this section aren't like this, in the sense that they don't have mainly convos alone.

And to me, it seems like private chatroom, or private turf if you want it. New users can hardly budge in and sink themselves into the jokes and the like.

How about setting up a new Section labelled 'Lounge'...if I don't recall wrongly, someone set one up last time? Wait...forgot his name? I forgot, but in the Tavern.

It isn't so much as art, but if you want a real analogy, it feels like hippy art, odd rumbling here and there that don't make sense. That's why I quit it, it's not fun after awhile listining to people going on and on about random topics. And stressing Strop's point again, only a few regular users use it, it becomes something like a 'monopoly'.

If you want, carry out the rumbling in another section but not one labelled 'Art'.

That's my own opinion.

Nicho: *stares glumly* No meat? Raw meat? I need raw meat, werewolves do. Jess is a werewolf too if you've been reading my stories. Apart from eating newbs....what else do you do in Thanksgiving?

And going to comment as well.
As far as I remember, the original was a continued story where everybody wrote a part. Then it became these rpg-ish conversations. I also remember the first thread being abandoned because other people used it (or something like that).
And calling it a spam feast might have been quite right in some sense.
... The title says it all.

Tydus? I still have the banner I drew for it lol.

Anyway, I'm not sure what creating another section for this stuff would do, or rather, whether it's warranted. Come to think of it, wouldn't be too difficult to set up your own board, you know...

Move it to the FG form if you want.

(It doesn't seem to fit in the FG either, which is why I haven't moved it!)
