A group of British hackers accessed thousands of e-mails from leading Global Warming scientists. The e-mails talked about manipulating data and tricking the population in order to increase support for Global Warming. One e-mail also expressed joy and happiness when a Global Warming skeptic died.

Other things to consider about Global Warming:

The world's temperature has not increased since 1998, despite constant predictions that temps will increase.

Al Gore's wealth in 2001 was $1 million. Al Gore's wealth has skyrocketed to $100 million since preaching about GW. His electricity bills were over $30,000 a year until he was caught not being so Green. His house was emitting over 100 tons of CO2 every year. Quite an inconvenient truth, eh?

Environmentalists have a terrible track record of violence, fear-mongering, and lying.
(PETA, Animal Liberation Front, Earth Liberation Front, etc)

NATURAL water vapor makes up 95% of greenhouse gasses. No more than 3% of greenhouse gas is CO2.

From 1965-1975 the global temperature was decreasing. The Earth goes through cycles and heals itself naturally.

Thoughts? Does this make you at all skeptic of Global Warming?

The first link is broken. Here it is:

This is just like when Gore said the core of the Earth was millions of degrees hot and someone blatantly told him to his face he was a liar.

I haz stuff to add to your list, Listo.

It is being theorized that the earth is still recovering from the Little Ice Age from roughly 1500-1900.
Kashow!

Though the polar ice caps have had a slight shrinking trend over the past 10 or so years, the trend has been reversed recently, with ice caps growing an area roughly the size of Germany over the past two years. While the perennial ice has mostly melted(ice sheet[s] lasting more than 6 years without freezing), this new ice has frozen and has not been melting. Most of the new ice is already 1/3rd of the way to being thick, perennial ice, and should renew almost all of the polar ice cap's vitality if the slight growing trend continues.

Global warming is real, but overrated. I'm not sure whether the sources are true though.

Global warming is real

The only since that global warming is real is when you talk about it going through cycles, not through greenhouse gases.

I've been telling people this stuff for years, probably since I was 11 -.-

And for the first and last time in human history, I love you List.

Haha. Global Warming is about the only issue we agree on, isn't it? I've been skeptical about GW since I first heard about it, and my skepticism continues to grow.

I'm with TheDude42. I believe global warming is real. I'm just not convinced that it's a permanent problem, nor am I convinced that it's a doomsday threat like people make it out to be.

First off, it's called Climate Change. If you are going to denounce a theory, at least call it by its proper name.

From 1965-1975 the global temperature was decreasing. The Earth goes through cycles and heals itself naturally.

Since the 1300s, we haven't hit any period of noticable cooling. In fact, winter weather has become more erratic than ever before.

In any case, cooling won't matter, as it is a part of global warming. Dimming as a result of atmospheric pollution could more than contribute to sudden and drastic change in overall temperature.

I love how on the same wiki page as this, there is a graph showing how the global temperature has been steadily increasing since the industrial age. Not to mention the other graph showing how the global temperature, between 1999 and 2008 has risen by almost half a degree, contradiction your earlier 'evidence' that global warming has stopped since 1998.

I'm keeping my trust in the scientists who's life work is to study the climate and predict its changes and if a majority of them worldwide believe climate change is happening then it probably is.

Wrong. That map you provided is a temperature comparison of 1940-80 vs. 1999-2009. It is not showing how much the temp has incrased (if at all) from 99-09. Temps have increased since 1940, but not since 1998.

I agree that the earth has warming and cooling periods, but you guys have to admit, us humans are contributing to climate change. We may not be doing it a whole lot, but we're definetely adding at least another log to the bonfire.
What I'm trying to say is that humans aren't making climate change by ourselves, but we are certainly tweaking it a bit.

OH NOES! THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE ROSE BY HALF A DEGREE! ITS THE END OF THE WORLD!

it was actually 3-4 degrees, but that's not the point I tried to make:

I was saying that the earth naturally does that, the changing of temperatures. But I was saying that it has gone fine until the industrial age, when it was, say, half a degree to a degree. That's why people were flipping out.
Who knows? I know I don't. No one can honestly say they know exactly what's going to happen.

I beg to differ.

Either way, the global temperature has risen by almost half a degree in less than half a century. That doesn't exactly seem like a minor increase to me.
