It would be cool if there was a system where your could challenge your friends or other players to beat your score on a game

I am running a tournament similar to your idea, if you would like to try that out. A lot of people are involved in it and it is great friendly competition!

There have been tournaments in threads like that. Their scores are proven by screenshots.

An actual implementation of highscores would be as difficult as making achievements for games. --- not happenin` anytime soon.

Yeah and if you were like the highest scoring person in a game you get like 10 ap or something.

I like the idea, but to gain Armor Points for reaching the highest score, wouldn't you then need a 'thread closing date'? Otherwise people would easily get AP by simply reaching the best score over and over in open score games...
