i just prestiged and i went to bolt actions. i love the sight of the springfield (and all pistols) because it(/they) dont have that annoying circle that blocks part of the view. I started using it for my... i'd say first time that i can remember unscoped and i cant believe what happened! i got 31 kills and 10 deaths. i normally get that while sniping! but runing into the action with a bolt action and getting that i also got dogs twice and artillery 4 times. well thats just the springfield you have to aim for the chest though if you want an assured kill (if they dont have juggernaut.) and here is my artists rendering of it :P hope you like it, and try it out

I love the bolt action guns too in COD5 because nobody expects you to be using them without scopes or at close range.

lol, new theory, DO NOT USE THE SPRINGFIELD!!! i have found that, unless it was the game, that the springfield is very weak, and doesnt have the best accuracy. i wish u could cut the top semi circle off the normal sights so they looked like a pistol's though :P springfield is a bit weak :/ i have a question, does anyone here banzai, not for a kill/death ratio, but just for fun :] my k/d is currently at 2.14 so i dont wanna risk it :P i have seen a guy with a springfield banzai at my house with juggernaut :] it seems fun

The Springfield is just like every other Bolt-action rifle: 2-shot kill normally, 1 shot with Stopping Power. Personally, I like making people mad because it seems so wierd to have a grenade launcher on the Springfield.

I like the Mosin-Nagant better though. And to answer you RenegadePlayer, I like to go banzai. My favorite basic weapon is the knife, my favorite attachment is the bayonet, and my favorite Nazi Zombies weapon is the Bowie Knife.
