Is it just me or has assassins creed 2 taken a huge turn from the original AC. Theres gold and stores and inventions and it's all so sudden. Am I the only one who is a little sckepticle?

not a lot of people liked the original it either received rave reviews or horrible ones. I guess they just wanted to try some new things to shake up the repetitiveness of the first one.

I didnt get the game yet, but im just wondering if I should rent or buy? Because I beat the first one in like 4 hours and never touched it again...?

Yeah I think you should,its gotten alot better,more wepons more trsure and you can buy more stuff,basicly its just ten times better then the first.

Ive completed it I thought the flying machine was a bit of a let down though.
