Word press might be a better option, although we would have to both learn html (if we don't know it) and figure out how to make it into w wiki format. If we want a pilot of sorts Wikia is best
Well first off you would only need to know basic, and I mean extremely basic html(I know I tried making a site on it before) Even then I think it gives you a WYSIWYG as well now for those who are not as good with the coding(I can't call it programming necessarily unless you use something like Javascript in it) Still its not as hard as you might think in my opinion.
although I have objections to taking over the old one.

. . . Maybe.
Are you talking about the original Wikia one?
Yup.
If not, let's assign jobs for the wiki.
Sure.
I thought of a name for our Wiki: The Community of Armor Games Wiki. Thoughts?
I don't plan on learning any coding or scripting any time soon, I tried it once with Lua, and I failed tremendously. I only knew how to take off someone's head in a game... anywho, we would have a coding team, a facts team, an editing team, and possibly an administration team, if we choose more than one leader. We would need scouts in the facts department to gather information from other non-participants in this organization. BTW, what should we call our group? Armor Games Historians? Armor Games Archivists? Armor Games Wikiers? etc.
I'm working on a demo right now. It needs some work in the coding department which I can take care of.(I have some experience with HTML, and CSS, and am fluent in C++...which just basically means its kind of easy for me to understand all of this stuff) If you want to see what I have done using Word Press you can look at it here.(There is no content yet as I just want to work on the design primarily)
TheDude42, there is never too much planning to be done. We need to get the teams together, so that when we make the site, it won't be a big flop. OK, if no one else wants it, then I'll be the head of administrations. TheDude42 will be the head of editing and writing. I assume TSL3 would want to do the facts?? and I assume crimson would want to be in charge of coding. Am I right with this? And TSL3, I know you said that you don't like making decisions, so could you think of anyone else that would want to be the head of facts-taking?
And to Crimsonblade, that's fine, I guess. But could you make the title page say, "Commune of Armor Games"? If you have time, start working on the web map feature I was talking about(we could just do lists and links for now, I guess. Some type of an outline format would be acceptable.)
OK, I'm not going to tell you, "Go there and do that, find out what happened here" I just want to make sure you are able to pick out which events to archive, and which events to leave out. Can you do that for me? If we start getting more people, your job will be widened to telling people to check out information, along with sifting through things yourself.
Which brings us to my next point. I want to know right now, truly and honestly, if anyone thinks that they aren't going to stick with it for a good deal of time, if anyone feels they can not offer the best they can for the wiki, please, speak now, because later on, it'll get more complicated.
