awsome, but if we are talking about chemistry id say mercury, its fun to play with but if we're talkin about fire water etc. then its a tie between fire and lightning one burns and the other causes it. what a good combo
here are the choices,Fire,water,wind,earth,metal,electricty,ice
isn't ice and water basically the same thing just different states? In the classical elements you forgot wood. seeing as you have metal in there from the Japanese classical elements wood should also be in there. Another thing to note electricity would more accurately stated as quintessence.
Do you mean elements like fire, earth, water and air? Or elements on the Periodic Table?
I'm sure given the list provided fire earth water air is what is meant.
Some of those arn't elements. Metal isn't cuz man made it.
In the Japanese classical elements metal is included.

I would say earth(as the answer to the OP) because without earth we would not be alive. Who knows, without earth, their probably wouldn't have been life in this solar system.
And for the period table of elements' elements, I would have to say Magnesium. Plants and animals use it to obtain energy, and it has combustible properties as well. It is an element that is used by things that compete with each other:Explosions and Life.
