I have an idea. What if we had a day where we acted and posted like another user? Of course, you would have to get that person's permission first, and there would be a signup sheet for who would be pretending to be who. Then again, it could result in a massive flame war, but we can try it.
Very few users seem to have specific traits to their posts, and the "acting like another user" seems more inviting to "ick a user, do what they usually do", which means that if you act like a spammer, you spam. Besides, just look at some of the forum games around. "That is the above user known for" is one that comes to mind, especially on the ground that no one actually know much about each other. "Who am I" as well. People are usually known for what they do, and not how they do it.
Also, it might develop into a war of sorts, because even though most users will not be directly spamming or flaming, they might end up playing on less - appropriate traits, because the user they are acting like often is like that. A caricature of a kind. If you manages to pull it off, then good luck with it.
*acts like deserteagle* There's an interesting YouTube video discussing this, I'll have to find it...

That is 7.5 hours of video on my opinon in video format, and if ONLY you would perform the simple act of watching all of them you would see the fallacy of your argument.
