The Coalition of Planets has just been founded by the Humans, Vulcans, Andorians, and Telleratites. The Denobulans, the Rigelians, and the Coridanites have already expressed interest in joining. Conflict has not yet arisen between the Romulans, Klingons, or Cardassians as the borders of what will soon become the Fedeation have not yet spread to meet the other great powers of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. While it is falling out of use Credits have still not been totally abandoned and will be of value to many foreign worlds.
