Is this a typo or intended? I would consider myself neither, each party has good and bad view points. Plus, if you associate yourself with any group, if that group does anything then you are instantly apart of it. Although, in general, it seems to me that smarter people are generally republicans and the less intelligent/less well off are democrats (Personal Experience)
I'm independent. I vote based on the merits and goals of a specific candidate rather than party. If you're going to vote, make sure you know who and what you are voting for.

By the way, I completely agree. Politics are more about bickering and less about getting things done; not to mention nearly everyone in the system is in it for the money, fame, power, etc.
