Which one would you rather be? I'll assume that most everyone knows the different powers, looks, etc about both. Even someone who knows just the basics of them can answer this question. I'd want to be a sith. They just seem so much more fun xP

Not completely true. Palpatine used his powers to keep himself alive, and Plagueis could keep people from dying. Their powers are derived from emotion, not hate.
And I would probably dabble in both sides' powers. As for following, I think I'd find my own path, outside of the Jedi and Sith philosophy. Oh, and I'd probably have either a blue, green or silver lightsaber.
