The void... People enter it, But once they do... They never come back, They're lost hurdling through the void fighting for their lives against monsters of the dark...
Part 1 - The Hunt
Leon: Dammit, that void's been causing us trouble for years can't someone just get rid of it?!
Bate: Calm down dude...
Leon: Don't tell me what to do Master Bate
Bate: I told you not to call me that!
Leon: Well then make me...
Bate: Forget it, let's just take care of things here...
Leon: If you say so.
Suddenly a pair of feral wolves appear from the darkness...
Leon: Psh... Feral wolves? Piece of cake.
Bate: Don't be so sure, They've been enhanced by the void. Look at their foreheads...
Leon looks at their foreheads and sees a flaming skull insignia on them.
Leon: Your right, Guess this won't be boring after all.
Suddenly one of the wolves goes for Leon, He draws his Sword and parries the strike. He lifts his blade and cuts the feral wolf's midsection, It howls in pain and falls on the ground writing.
Leon: One down, One to go. You do it.
Bate: Alrighty.
Bate takes out his Great Sword, He lifts it with both hands and splits apart the last feral wolf.
Leon: Looks like were done here, Let's go back to town.
Bate: I agree.
3 hours later...
Leon: Only 50 Gold?! But you promised us 75 Gold!!!
Man: Do you want the frigging gold or not?!
Leon: Fine.
Leon angrily snatches the bag of gold pieces and walks off in a fit of anger.
Bate: So how did it go?
Leon: Horribly. He only gave me 3/4 of the promised reward... Stingy asshole...
Bate: Still, It's better than nothing.
Leon: I guess your right, Well let's get back to the inn...

After a good night's sleep at the Inn, Leon and Bate prepare for yet another job to do.
Bate: Hey Leon, Remind me why we do these jobs again?
Leon: It's because our hometown got destroyed by the Void right? And we have no place to stay other than the Inn, And sleeping at the inn costs money. We also need food, medicine, and weaponry.
Bate: Oh yeah...
Citizen: OH MY GOD!!!
Man: OH HELL NO!!!
Woman: IT'S THE VOID!!!
Leon: The void?!
Bate: Quick! We have to get out of here before the void swallows us completely!
The Void: Leon...
Leon: What th--
Suddenly, Leon collapses on the ground.
Bate: God dammit Leon! Don't snooze on me now!!!
Bate vigorously shakes Leon but no amount of force wakes him up....
Bate: Dammit...
Bate kneels down, picks up Leon, and carries him on his shoulders and runs to the exit, But suddenly 2 monsters fall from the void and land right next to Bate.
Goblin: Give ussss dah boy.
Goblin: Give himmm to usssss....
Bate: Never you filthy scum bags!!!
The Goblins lunge towards Bate, He slightly jumps off the ground and kicks one in the face, He uses his free hand to jab the one in face, Whilst the Goblins are stunned Bate makes it for the exit and successfully exits the village with Leon...

Bate: We're in a Hunter's Camp, and the Void is far from us my sleepy friend.
Leon: How long have I been out?
Bate: You've been in a coma for about... 3 days.
Leon: 3 days?!
Bate: Yeah, anyways... Let me show you the leader of this place.
Leon and Bate exit the tent and a man clad in armor appears and greets them.
Bate: This is their Leader, He's also one of the people who sealed away the void long ago.
Leon: It's quite an honor to meet you sir.
???: Forget all the formal stuff, talk as you like. But if you want to stay here you gotta earn your stripes.
Bate: How do we do that?
???: We've been hunting for a certain infected beast for a long time now, He's been avoiding us for months now... Track him down, kill him, bring me his head or anything attached onto him and you can stay here.
Leon: Sounds easy enough... Also, What's your name?
???: My name is... You'll find out soon enough.
Bate: Oh come on!!!
???: Nope, Earn your stripes and you'll find out.
Leon: Come on "Master Bate" let's go find that beastie.
Bate: Stop calling me that for peep's sake.
???: Boys will be boys...

4 hours later...
Leon: This is more frigging difficult than i thought.
Bate: That's what you get for talking so highly...
Leon: What was that?
Bate: Uh... nothing.
???: *snarl*
Leon: What is that thing?
They both look at a large bird standing right in-front of them, It's body is covered in blood, and so is it's large beak. It has fire in it's eyes and has the insignia of the void.
Bate: Guess this thing is what we're looking for.
Leon: *gulp* Looks... Big.
Bate: Don't tell me the amazing Leon is afraid of a bird?
Terror Bird: BWAWWKK.
Suddenly the Terror Bird impales Bate with it's incredibly large beak!
Leon: BATE! NO!
Bate: Y-you... fool...
Leon: Don't die on me dammit! I'll kill you you frigging bird!
Terror Bird: *snarl*
Leon draws his sword and slashes the Terror Bird across the midsection, it snarls and kicks Leon with it's foot.
Leon: Have a taste of this you vermin.
Leon takes out a knife from his belt and rushes at the Terror Bird like a hulking beast. He slashes,stabs, and hacks at the Terror Bird repeatedly with both weapons until it finally falls on the ground, laying in it's own pool of blood.
Leon: *huff* *puff* You okay dude?
Bate: Just... finish the job...
Leon: Whatever *cough* you *hack* say *wheeze*
Leon crouches on the ground and cuts off the bird's head.
2 hours later at Hunter Camp...
???: You actually did it, I can't believe it... But it seems that Bate is gravely wounded, Take him to the infirmary men.
Hunter: Yes Sir!!!
???: Now about your reward, Here it is.
The General takes out a crate from under a table, He pries it open and inside are bags of gold.
???: Here.
Leon: Thank you very much sir, Now... About your name.
???: Oh yes. I am... Amadeyus, 13th Commander of the Arkham Armed Forces, Feel free to stay here as long as you want. Our camp is your camp.
Leon: Thank you.

It's pretty obvious you copied that name from Batman Arkham Asylum.
Your story is a lot like a script. Is this going to be a movie or a play? Also, it seems that nothing really significant seems to be happening throughout your story. I suggest you throw more plot twists and ideas into future chapters, since it's starting to become a little dull.
To get me wrong, its good, but try to keep it interesting.
