The President gets paid more for his farewell address than he does for his entire Presidency. That is if he lives that long. To me that is a very interesting tidbit.
I'm not any kind of Obama supporter, and I've even said it myself, but I would REALLY like a chart on how much golfing and vacations Obama vs. Bush had.
I would like to see that before I come to any conclusion.
(Republicans have won a couple of senatorial rounds recently. Hint hint.)
Personally I think he has not accomplished as much as he promised, though to be fair, it's still early in his term.
Hmmm... I wonder, maybe it was the Republicans that stopped him from doing what he wanted. Just a thought, though maybe Republicans blindly hating him had nothing to do with it. But what do I know, I'm not a politician.
He has his heart in the right place, but it's going to be difficult to accomplish anything with such fierce Republican opposition.
Ever think WHY they oppose the whole healthcare thing?
Maybe it was Sarah Palin's death panels that made the republicans fight it, or maybe it was all the random criticism that had nothing to support it. You can't look at what the republicans did to the healthcare plan and see logic.
The President gets $400,000. That's a lot of money, but it's no where near what athletes and CEO's make. Being President of the US has to be the most stressful job in the world, and there are people who put a ball in a goal who make more money. It's pretty pathetic.
Cough. You know how much Putin made? 80,000 dollars.
