So just to start this game is quite amazing i need help on the first level i beat all the other portal no prob but im stuck on the boss. Plz help thanks
you could repeat the defeated enemies to raise your dragon lvl and the lvl of your friend (don't remember the name), and use this tactic: wait at the beggining until you see him on the screen, then start running in circles, the point is that he don't reach and attack. while you are running, your allies will hit him, taking down slowly his life, but must important, HE will hit THEM, not YOU, when both of your allies are dead, run to the left of the battlefield, you will se a big rock, make him be on the upper side of the rock and you on the other one, and attack him. You attack him from that position and most of the times he can't attack you, so you will kill him slow but safely, and thats it.
Here are some things I learned through out the game:
Remember to keep feeding the dragon every food item you get. You can get your Dragon to full growth quite quickly in the game! The max growth is 600 (and he grows about 5 times during the game before full growth)
Keep repeating levels as banoguday states. I really like to repeat levels that give lots of items so that you can sell them later. Once you get to the second section played Blob Bonanza over and over!
When choosing what powers to upgrades with Aztec (or whatever the magician guys name was)... I recommend upgrading all magical powers to 2/3 then putting all your level up points into faster recharge (the final one), then orb and nova, and finally freezing. But hey, it's whatever you want.
Whenever you quit your experience and money will be lost. So, keep playing until you level up if you are close and try to buy anything from the merchant before quitting so you can redeem some of your money.
When you are in the Valley, keep playing the Giants Domain and Oh Snap until you get some Giants feet. It gives the dragon significant growth and is the best healing item I have found thus far in the game.
In levels like the first boss in the Camping level and Stone Head in the next section, if you have the Orb power and are patient. The magician can kill those objects with out you fighting. Just stand there (make sure the enemy is visible but you are not in their fighting range). Through out the entire game it is useful to know that if an enemy is off the screen, it will not fight you. Use that to your advantage to run around and isolate enemies!
Well...that is all I can think of right now! Good luck!
Well... uhm... seems 'trayzrulz' explained pretty much everything to you about the game, so... what am I to say...? Well... listen to trayzrulz's comment, it's of great value to you if you do! =D
And all I can add to the comment above is something that workes in almost any of these type of games... if there is an allie that has to be fed/grown/build/whatever, do that the first chance you get with a level similar to the 'Blob Bonanza Level'! In this case you have a powerful allie at your side, thus making it a little less difficult to beat upcoming levels and make your progress in the game faster! I had my dragon raised to full-grown after only half of the second section (ahm, 'Hill Top' it was?) and it made my life a lot easier!
Also I had a lot of benefit from the fact that I first chose the Nova to expand, then the Orb and as a third the Freeze! This way seemed to be the best order to expand them, but that's what I thought and liked... Everyone should deceide that for themselves of course!
okay lolz im stuck on lvl 6 act 2 i feel like such a noob lol those revivers are so hard to kill let alon i have like 5-7 spear guys hitting me while im chasing down a freakin fast reviver
Personally I think that the Regeneration skill should be maxed out first, otherwise you cannot recover from your wounds unless you eat food, which will hinder the dragon's growth.
You're stuck on the Revivers? Do you have the best gear you can buy? If not, then please do. The best attacking combo is Axe/Mace, because wielding a mace in your second hand will cause your axe to attack almost as fast as the mace. If I remember correctly, the best weapons you can get at that level is Zeo's Axe and Hippie Smasher's Mace. Also, if you want to level up a bit, grind on the Semi Boss.
The three best grinding spots in the entire game: Blob Bonanza: lots of item drops. Giant's Domain: lots of item drops. Last map level 2: lots of item drops and EXP.
Check the hints by Bloodshadow, they are my advice as well! =D Especially the one about the 'Blob Bonanza'! If the Nova is high enough, you can easily pick up items dropped and sell them for money! If you do this level several times, you have enough money to upgrade your weapons and also gain a lot of experience at the same time! Last one also means more Skills for Azteca! Then you try that problem level again, see what it gives...
