I was just wondering, have their been real cases where someone suffered from multiple personality disorders? I mean, not like voices, but has suffered from a disorder where they begin to become someone within an alternate ego?
I'm sorry, I know this is a very irrelevant question, but I just wondered for inspirational purposes.
I remember hearing a story of a guy who had something like 100 different personalities. He communicated with them through a forum he set up. Each personality had it's own screen name and posted back and forth with each other.
I'm sure if the forum still exists it's set to private.
