I made a thread on this last night I think, but it might not have gone through due to the error. Anyways, i'll restate it. This occurs when I put a post in about 60% of the time, it takes a minute or so trying to load the post, then it brings up this blank screen with the tab called HTTP 500 Internal service error. It's starting to get annoying and I wanted to get it out there so I could find whether or not this is something with my computer or if other people are having this issue and it's something that needs to be fixed. Please let me know
This isn't happening to me either, so I would assume it is more of an isolated incident. Meaning, it is likely your computer.
I just looked into it a little more, and the page information is telling me the most likely causes are that the site is under maintenance or has an error, and, due to that someone else seems to be having a problem as well, I don't think it's my computer.
Hmmm, well the site hasn't been under heavy maintenance that should cause that. Although it is perfectly probable that it could be an issue with the server causing problems on the site.
It happened to me several times when posting on this site in the last couple of days!
When I write a comment and click the 'submit' button, the same thing happens. The screen goes blank with only the message "HTTP 500 INTERNAL SERVICE ERROR", but.......
When I click the arrow to go back to the previously visited page, my comment shows up in the thread, so that works, only it has the abovementioned error hanging to it!
Maybe this happens when a lot of people login at the same time and the site is under heavy usage?
I think I might stay off the forums until this is fixed, because obviously it's not just me and it's also recent, and waiting 5 minutes between posts is just too long to actually participate in a fast moving thread. I'll check back on every 2-3 days I guess, see if it has stopped.
