You go outside and using the magical hammer and anvil that the priest lent you, you make a sword that is ever sharp. The people who are watching are very impressed, and soon flock into the Hephaestus temple. "Well done brother," says the priest happily. "You brought more faith to Hephaestus." Suddenly, a few members of the City Guard walk up, dressed in full armor. "We were watching," one of them says. "You seemed to have a way with the forge, and I'm willing to bet that you'd be a good smith even without magic items." "Thank you," you say graciously. "The City Guard want to hire you as our armory blacksmith," says the guard to the right. "You'd be paid well. What do you think?"
